All cabinets are supplied with the top fitted. The drawers are locking. There is an option to have either a plinth base or a base with wheels. The plinth base is a recommended option - Plinth Base. This enhances the appearance and makes access to the lower drawers much easier. The plan chest does not have to be fitted with a plinth or wheeled base as some people prefer to build in their plan chest.

The plan chest is supplied in 5 drawer sections to make it easy to handle. A top is automatically fitted unless ordered without.

Ships on a pallet via Palletline. Palletline use 7.5 tonne lorries with a tail lift. The driver will help you unload as best he can. He will have a pallet skate but it cannot climb kerbs or steps and cannot be used on uneven surfaces such as gravel. You can unpack the individual items off the pallet whilst it is on the lorry. The Wheeled Base raises the plan chest by 180mm and provides mobility. Two of the wheels have brakes.

Swivelling bar keeps paper at the front of the drawer flat. Only one bar per drawer and fitted at time of manufacture. Please order 1 per drawer, if you are ordering a 10 drawer plan chest you will need to order 10 pressure bars. Not recommended for retro-fitting. Ships free when ordered with plan chest.
