A superb portable drawing board with the a cross cord Straightline parallel motion which gives a very positive drawing edge. The Carrying case is an almost essential accessory for this board. Chromed prop stand supports the board at the correct working angle and when folded forms a convenient carrying handle. The parallel motion has reliable, adjustable, underboard cross cord system which can easily be replaced and runs on smooth brass bearings.

The aluminium reversible parallel motion has perpex edges which are marked 1:1 1:2 in centimetres and the reverse edge has 1:5, 1:2.5 for scaled drawings. It takes 10 seconds to unscrew the ruler from the sliding carriage with the metal to metal fittings(see picture) and the same to refit. The edges of the rule are captured to ensure continuing stability. There are 2 rubber feet on the front edge to give a good grip to the working surface
The ruler blade is similar to the scales we supply with top of the range drafting machines. The aluminium centre gives strength whilst the clear perspex ruler edges allow you to see your drawing. The markings are engraved on the underside so they will not rub off. The perspex inking edges are raised from the board so that your drawing ink will not smudge.

A combination of Bertram A1 Straightline and the Mini stand to provide an economical fully adjustable desktop drawing unit. The Straightline has the precision-made cross-cord acrylic straight edge, which eliminates the need for a T-square and includes an inking edge for clean, smudge-free results with pens, pencils and markers. Please note that the Bertram A1 case is not really suitable for carrying this board due to the thickness of the stand and board.

The Mini A1 is made by Italian manufacturer Neolt. Supplied with the Mini stand which has 7 adjustment positions up to approximately 70 degrees.

The 19mm thick white drawing board has a distinctive pale grey protective edge lipping except when supplied with the AXIAL parallel motion when the board is 1000mm x 700 x 19mm thick to suit the size of the Axial. The Mini A1 can be purchased on its own or with a T square, Axial Parallel Motion or the LM drafting machine.

An A1X drawing board with very stable desk top stand variable to 7 positions and with the Neolt LM Drafting Machine. A superbly convenient professional work station for producing drawing up to A1 size (although the board is A1X size, the protractor head of the drafting machine has to have room to "park" effectively reducing the working area to A1 size).

The LM Drafting Machine is a good quality, general purpose drafting machine designed for the smaller board. The LM has clamp fixing and anodised aluminium vertical and horizontal tracks. The 360° protractor head is easy to use with automatic stops every 15°, which can be circumvented to allow freewheeling of the head. There is a vertical lock and a lamp holder. 1 pair of scales is included.
