The Axial is a highly effective, budget sensitive, entry-level parallel motion. It has adjustable fixed wires and an aluminium handle and Perspex ruler blade with an inking edge. There is a simple system of lateral wires connected via pulleys on the ruler and clamps on the board. Two adjusters can be used for tensioning the wires to suit the board angle. This parallel motion is ideal for educational, studio and domestic use.
A superb top roller professional parallel motion using the traditional movement system of wires and weights. The top rollers are encased in attractive protective fairings as are the bottom wheels. There is a blade lock on the right hand bottom wheel and both bottom wheels are adustable for tensioning the wires. The reversible blade has a transparent inking edge on one side and a metal edge on the other. The underside of the blade is fitted with tiny rollers (which can be moved to suit) so that it glides effortless across the board. Another benefit of the aluminium ruler is the absence of "static pull" sometimes experienced with plastic rulers.
