Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment.
We accept Visa and Mastercard and Debit Cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
Shipping And Handling We keep our shipping and handling costs as low as possible.
Royal Mail Small items are sent out by Royal Mail, usually 1st class delivery.
Parcelforce United Kingdom Parcelforce carry most of our products on their 48 hour service in the UK and Europe. You may choose a 24 hour service at extra cost. Parcelforce delivery times are business days only with Saturdays available at extra cost. Our standard delivery charge covers delivery to Parcelforce Zone 1. If you live in the Highlands, Channel Islands or Northern Ireland the postal charge is £15. This applies to post codes starting BT, PA, PH, IV, KA, HS, KW. Please call for deliveries to offshore islands (Scillies, Isle of Man, Orkneys and Shetlands). Products longer than 1500mm packed length are subject to a surcharge by Parcelforce as they are shipped as a LARGE parcel.
Parcelforce International We ship to certain European countries providing the shipment is under 30Kg and less than 3 metres girth. We have listed France Germany and Ireland but unfortunately Ebay does not allow us to break the rates down any further. Our rates are: Ireland, France, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg - £17.00 Italy Spain Portugal - £26.00 Greece - £46.00 Andorra, Slovakia, Turkey - £95.00 Rest of Europe not mentioned above but please double check with us for a quote - £35.00
CUSTOMS CHARGES & LOCAL TAXES We are not responsible for any local taxes or customs charges which should be paid by the recipient.
Palletline Because of the dimensions and or weight sometimes we have to ship on a pallet via Palletline. The lorry will have a tail lift and a pump truck. The driver will move your pallet as near as he can safely but a pump truck cannot climb kerbs, steps or traverse gravel or uneven ground. At this point you have to accept delivery and move or unpack the pallet. Our basic charge to most areas of England and South Wales is £47.50. Add £5.00 for a morning delivery or £10 for a timed delivery. The following areas have a fuel/time surcharge London within M25 + £6.00 South West, postcodes TR, PL, TQ + £8.00 per pallet West Wales, postcodes SA, LD, LL, SY + £8.00 per pallet North, postcodes CA, NE, DL, DH, SR, TS + £8.00 per pallet Scotland , postcodes TG, TD, KA, ML, EH, G, FK, KY + £30.00 per pallet Scotland Highlands postcodes, AB, PA, PH, DD + £60 per pallet All other areas including Offshore Islands, BT, IV by quotation only Postcodes PO, BH, SP, SO have a local REDUCTION of £15

Delivery Schedule Orders placed with us by 12.00 noon on a working day will normally be shipped the same day, however we may take up to 2 business days before shipping. Use the 24 hour service for a next day delivery (order must be placed by noon).
Orders on 24 hour delivery placed by 12.00 noon will be shipped the same day.
If you need a guaranteed delivery time please call us as Parcelforce offer a variety of guaranteed deliveries.
International orders are generally delivered in under 3 days.
Deliveries around Public Holidays may be delayed due to heavy demands placed on our couriers. This is particularly the case in the leadup to Christmas and Easter. We also experience availability problems duiring the August factory holidays. Check with us for accurate delivery predictions.
Pallet orders may take several days to prepare. We will generally call you to arrange a convenient delivery time. |

Returns Policy Our Refunds Policy
Our 30-day* returns guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item, see more below. We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. Please note that we reserve the right to send back items to you that have been returned to us after 30 days unless they are faulty. Specific rules apply regarding refunds of delivery charges, gift wrapping and other services--see below In the event of Art-Drawingoffice sending you a replacement for a damaged, defective or wrong item, you must return the item to Art-Drawingoffice within 30 days. Art-Drawingoffice reserves the right to charge the price of the replacement item to the payment card used for the original order if you do not return the original item to us within 30 days of the date on which Art-Drawingoffice confirms we will issue a replacement
The following describes how we calculate refunds and outlines our policy on gift refunds. Our refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights (see below). Some notes about refunds: When you send your item back to us (or, in the case of large items delivered via specialist courier, when we collect the item from you), we'll process the returned item then notify you via e-mail of your refund. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within three weeks of our receiving your return.

How Refunds Are Calculated 1. Items returned because they are damaged, defective or incorrect If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or, in accordance with our returns policy, because it is damaged or defective, we will refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us by refunding your return postage costs. We will also refund the cost of gift wrapping and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase, where applicable.
Art-Drawingoffice will check all items returned as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.
2. Items returned within the seven-day cooling off period By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. For more information see Your Statutory Rights below. Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows: a. where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we'll refund the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred b. where you are returning an entire order, we'll refund applicable per-item delivery charges and the per-delivery charge that you incurred c. we will refund only standard (Airmail) postage charges for items delivered outside the UK d. where we collect an item from you, we reserve the right to recover the costs of collection from you.
We will not refund the cost of gift wrapping, your costs in returning the item to us and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is defective.
3. Items returned under the 30-day or 14-day returns guarantee Where you are withdrawing from your purchase between seven and 30 days after delivery (or between seven and 14 days in the case of large items), and there has been no error on our part, we will refund only the cost of the item. We will not refund the cost of gift wrapping, delivery or other services provided to you in connection with your purchase. If we arrange collection from you we will deduct the return postage from your overall refund.
4. Gift Refunds If you return a gift purchased for you at Art-Drawingoffice, you'll receive a gift certificate for the value of your return, which you may use as part or full payment for future purchases from our website. Don't worry, we won't let the person who sent you the gift know about your return.
Please remember that normal returns criteria apply unless the return is due to an error on our part. If the return is not due to an error on our part, the refund will not include the cost of gift wrapping or other services provided to you in connection with the purchase. The cost of returning the item to us will not be included.
Your Statutory Rights Cooling-off Period Purchases At Art-Drawingoffice we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items. That's why under our 30-day returns guarantee, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item (14 days for large items). By law, customers in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, please call us free on 0800 085 1454 for a returns number, giving the reason for the return as "I just don't want it anymore". Please package the relevant item securely and send it to us within 30 days following the date that the item was delivered to you. Please note that we cannot accept returns if you deliver them to us by hand. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service if the value of the return is more than 50 GBP. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective. If we do not receive the item back from you quoting our returns number, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost.
You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for additional services carried out by us (eg: gift wrapping).
As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item together with the item's normal postage charge--we cannot refund any priority, express or courier component of the postage charge. We do NOT have collection facilities for deliveries outside the UK. If you wish to return an item you must arrange and pay for the return having first obtained a RET number from us.
Summary of our Returns procedure (United Kingdom Only) 1. You will need your order reference number and the details of the item to be returned. 2. Email: returns@art-drawingoffice.co.uk or phone Customer Services on: 0800 085 1454. 3. You must obtain a Returns Number (RET) from us so that we can both track the progress of your return. If you send something back without an RET number, we will not be able to identify it as yours when it comes back to our warehouse and the product will probably get lost. All returns MUST have a valid RET number. 4. We will arrange for collection of the item by one of our carriers unless it was sent by Royal Mail in which case we ask you to return it to us. You must return the item in its original condition, including packaging and obtain proof of return from the carrier. We will then despatch a replacement from our Distribution Centre or process a refund once your return is received.
